Absolute Children’s Services provides homes that are unique and family-orientated with consistent boundaries. Our homes are designed to ensure that each child feels comfortable and safe within their environment. High levels of nurture and stability are presented as we replicate a loving family. We take great care to avoid giving any sense of institutionalisation.

We create a therapeutic restorative family environment for the recovery and rehabilitation of children and young people who have suffered abuse, neglect, victims of child sexual abuse, exploitation and other trauma. We aim to transform the lives of children and young people who suffer severe emotional and psychological difficulties, through positive therapeutic and behavioural approaches.     

Within our homes, it is achievable to provide one to one care. We assign a member of the care team to a child to meet their individual needs and offer exceptional care and attention. Every child and young person has a therapeutic keyworker identified, whose role is to ensure that the child’s needs are met. They ensure that individual talents, enthusiasms, and preferences are recognised, developed and that emotional and psychological concerns are understood and worked through. The keyworker provides a special focus for exploring and developing the capacity for a healthy emotional attachment in all its complexities.
