Absolute Children’s Services provides homes that are unique and family-orientated, with consistent boundaries. Our homes are designed to ensure that each child feels comfortable and safe in their environment. High levels of nurture and stability are presented as we replicate a loving family. We take great care to avoid giving any sense of institutionalisation.

Within our homes, it is achievable to provide one to one care. We can assign a member of the care team to a child to meet their individual needs and offer exceptional care and attention. Every child and young person has a therapeutic keyworker, whose role is to ensure that the child’s needs are met, that talents, enthusiasms, and preferences are recognised, developed and that emotional and psychological concerns are understood and worked through. The keyworker provides a special focus for exploring and developing the capacity for a healthy emotional attachment, in all its complexities.

The size of our homes facilitates close, secure and positive relationships between all the children and carers. By achieving this, we provide a positive model of attachment behaviours for the child, but it also allows a child to be re-assigned to another staff member if required. ,allowing them to develop dynamic relationships with different carers within the home
